WAWI, in partnership with G.P.S. (Gateway To Perinatal Services) & Trinity Medical Transport Foundation 501c3, a U.S. based nonprofit, will provide knowledge, resources, and perinatal support to all women of childbearing age before, during, and after pregnancy to improve their likelihood of having healthy pregnancies and delivering healthy babies. Services will be provided through the Gateway Perinatal Services project and will cover:

  1. Family planning
  2. The importance of antenatal and post natal care
  3. Cervical and breast cancer
  4. Managing pregnancy, birth and after birth, causes of maternal mortality and how it can be addressed
  5. Child care especially, breast feeding, nutrition, immunization and awareness about the causes of child mortality for children less than five years
  6. Work life balance
